Poppy Seed Nut Bread

 3 cup flour
 1 ½ tsp. baking soda
 1 tsp salt
 2 cup sugar
 1 ½ cup Crisco oil
 2 eggs
 1 tsp. vanilla
 1 large can evaporated milk
 1 jar of poppy seed
 2 cup nuts, chopped

Mix sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Sift baking soda, flour and salt. Add alternately to sugar mixture, with milk. Add nuts and poppy seeds. Mix well. Pour into 4 greased (Baker’s Joy works great) and floured 1 pound coffee cans. Bake @325º for 1 hour.
