Cherry Crunch

3 x 9 x 2 baking dish

20 oz. can of pineapple (drained)
20 oz. can of cherry pie filling
cup of sugar
2 sticks of butter or margarine
1 yellow cake mix
1 cup walnuts

Spray baking dish with Pam. Place pineapple and then cherry pie filling in pan (layer do not mix). Sprinkle cake mix on top. Pour melted butter on top of cake mix. Make sure all mix is wet with butter. Sprinkle sugar, then walnuts on top. Bake in preheated 350 oven until top is brown, approximately 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Can serve with ready whip if desired.
