Ginger Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg

Beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy then add egg and blend.

1/4 cup light molasses
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1/2 tsp. Cloves

Add together these ingredients and then blend into above mixture.

2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped nuts

Stir into combined mixtures above. Scoop dough with small scoop and place on parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 10 minutes.
