Bev began teaching on her own in the year 2000, when she found herself without a teaching partner. She has a beginner’s class, phase 2/3 club and 3+/4+ Club in Satellite Beach, at the David Schecter Community Center, 1089 S. Patrick Dr. on Sunday Afternoons and is now assisted by Orin Blair.

She also cues for the Palm Bay Promenaders Square Dance Club on Thursday nights at Trailer Haven in Melbourne, the Orlando Singles on Friday nights in Winter Park, Allemanders on Saturday nights at The Civic Center in Satellite Beach and on Monday Afternoons in Ocala, For the Oak Run Twirlers. And teaches a Beginners Round Dance Class and a 3+/4+ workshop at Ocala Palms on Monday Evenings. And also cues for Friendly Squares in Belleview on Wednesday afternoons.

Bev has taught at Several Festivals and State Conventions she taught and cued at the 56th National Square Dance Convention in North Carolina and is scheduled to teach at the Nationals in Long Beach, California in June 2009. She was Chairman of the Rounds for the 50th State Convention in Florida in 2004, the 54th State Convention in 2008 and the 55th State Convention in 2009.  She also writes an article for Round Dancing in the “Bow & Swing” here in Central Florida. and is Editor for the “Cue Card” a newsletter for members of the ”Florida Round Dance Council”.

Bev is a member of Roundalab, and Florida Round Dance Council.  She was president of the Florida Round Dance Council in 1999 and 2000 and again in 2006 & 2007.  She is also a teacher accredited by the East Coast Round Dance Teachers College in Salem, New Hampshire.
